Turn left, Turn right (Movie Analysis)

8:12 AM

The quote that marked on my mind for so many reasons, we all have that one person we called he or she might be "the one" or "our destiny", but what if he isn't? Should we know what to feel if we get to meet our destiny? How would we know if we were right about it?

"Pinag lalaruan ng tadhana" I think it is the perfect term for the movie that we've seen, the main characters are both destined to meet other people, but are not meant to be together.
They get played by chance. That often happens in reality too, we somehow thought that if someone enters our life, we get the hang of it and having the thought in ourselves that "we're destined for each other" but, have we asked ourselves whether it is just a blessing or a lesson?

Our life is full of trials and error... Cupid will shot us then demand us to return his arrow, it is really confusing...
I believe that we are really made for someone, and if we're wrong about it, we should know it without force.
If the feeling is right and the timing is perfect, we will always get to know it.

Movie review:

The story tells us about the chance of something. The main characters, Takeshi and Gigi have seen each other a long time ago but wasn't able to know each other's name. Their identification of each other is through the number tags written on their uniform. They were also living in a same building but didn't know that they were neighbors.

They had a chance to meet Dr. Hu, a physician attendant at the hospital when Gigi and Takeshi were sick and Ruby, the girl who's working in a restaurant that delivers food.

Dr. Hu and Ruby are both destined for each other as well, they just didn't get that feeling the first time they've met, because they were too busy attending to someone who's inattentive of them.

The story tells us that if we want something or someone we really wanted for a long time... We must do something about it, though chances are, sometimes unfavor of us.

We were able to meet someone who is really for us, but the first stage we often do is in denial of it, because we want something or someone so bad and thought that they were the one for us. We often push ourselves for people who's inattentive for us, for what we've call the "wrong" people.

The story also tells us that "acceptance" and "patience" should work together, we must accept everything and learn to be patient and wait for a perfect timing, then put a little faith on it.

I guess it is entitled "turn left, turn right" because sometimes all we have to do is to lend an eye of something we didn't see and take a chance on it.
